1.34L CO2 Cylinders can come filled with FDA certified food grade CO2 for soft drinks and higher carbonated lagers. Lightweight and easily portable for use with most soda makers in the market. They are made of durable aluminum to ISO7866 or DOT or GB11640 standards. This CO2 gas cylinder is about 2.2 times (134L CO2) the size of the most popular 0.6L (60L CO2) carbon dioxide cylinder on the market. Whether it's soda, seltzer, or the recent popularity of carbonated coffee, tea or juice, CO2 is essential to produce the bubbles necessary to ensure consistent and safe beverages.

FAQs

Q: Why do we recommend that you always have more than one cylinder?

A: We recommend keeping a back-up carbonating cylinder so that when one CO2 cylinder runs out, you simply swap the empty cylinder for a full one. That way, you'll keep enjoying fresh, fizzy drinks without interruption.

Q: Is it safe to have carbonating cylinders in my home and how should they be stored?

A: Mid-Star CO2 cylinders are totally safe to have in your home. They are manufactured to exacting safety specifications to protect our consumers and are safe at virtually any altitude. Make sure to always store your CO2 cylinder in a cool and dry environment, away from direct sunlight. The carbonating cylinder must not be exposed to sources of heat (such as prolonged travel in the trunk of a car) or placed right next to a heat source such as an oven, stove or fireplace.
