Nitrogen tank for welding contain nitrogen gas, chemical formula N2, recovered from the atmosphere via an air separator. Nitrogen is one of the main components of air, accounting for 78.08% (volume fraction) of the total atmosphere. Nitrogen is used in welding as a purge gas, laser cutting, and plasma cutting applications. For welding, nitrogen is frequently mixed with other gases such as argon and helium.
Because nitrogen can replace air in a welding tank, nitrogen tank for welding should be used under ventilated conditions.
Under nitrogen protection, wave soldering and reflow soldering will become the norm in surface assembly technology. Cleaning can be eliminated by combining ring nitrogen wave soldering machine and formic acid technology, as well as ring nitrogen reflow soldering machine with extremely low activity solder paste and formic acid.
