Aluminum compressed gas cylinders, equipped with various valves, are used more and more for all breathing gases. The special feature of the almost neutral buoyancy of the aluminum diving bottles makes these diving bottles the ideal stage bottles for technical divers and redundancy for rebreather divers. In addition, these diving tanks are used for diving in caves and wrecks. As diving bottles, we can equip these aluminum diving bottles with the valves of the tool for one diving devices, so that a right and a left valve with blind plugs are installed.
Aluminum scuba tanks, like the 200 bar compressed air steel tanks, are subject to the rules of the Operational Safety Ordinance and require a recurring strength test every 30 months (TÜV). The operator of the scuba tank or the owner is responsible for this test. Q: Do I need to visually inspect the tank myself?
A: After asking all the proper questions, do a visual inspection yourself (although, you still need to have it professionally inspected for the official stamp of approval).
Q: Are there any dents? Defects? Or noticeable scuffs?
A: Scuffs are one thing, dents are another. A scuba tank with a noticeable dent in the metal could be an indication of a much larger problem.
Q: Do I have to register my regulator to get the free parts?
