Aluminum Nitrogen Tank

Nitrogen is used to freeze and preserve blood, tissue, and other biological specimens in the lab and life sciences industry. In cryosurgery and dermatology, nitrogen also freezes and kills damaged tissue. Liquid nitrogen is also utilized in a wide range of laboratory instruments, including cold traps, gas adsorption systems, and NMR and MRI machines. The use of gaseous nitrogen protects a process from moisture incursion, oxidation, deterioration, and contamination (e.g., purging, pressure transferring, mixing and blanketing). Gaseous nitrogen is also used in the lab and life sciences sectors as a carrier, diluent, or nebulization gas in many analytical equipment.

Because the form and pressure of the bottles vary, it is critical that the appropriate attachments are given. This implies that you may extract the gas at the appropriate pressure and flow rate for your application. There are other bottles that are not at 300 bar pressure; the offer varies by country.

FAQs

Q: How do I get my unit repaired or serviced?

A: MID-STAR Products can be repaired through the MID-STAR process. Please contact MID-STAR Application Engineering department to set up a number and initiate the process.

Q: How do we install and handle the cylinder?

A: If the cylinder is to be removed, transported, or stored, the stated handling procedures must be followed to avoid personal injury or damage to the cylinder itself. The cylinders must be moved carefully to avoid damage to the surface protective coating. Only when the cylinders are depressurized can they be handled. When moving cylinders, safety shoes must be worn to protect the feet.

Q: Why is the cylinder translucent?

A: Because of the translucency, you can see the gas level through the cylinder wall and know precisely how much gas you have left. This reduces the possibility of running out of petrol at an inconvenient time. You'll also be able to detect if the cylinder was correctly filled.
