Nitrous-MIDSTAR Supply carries a large stock of aluminium bottles in a wide range of popular sizes and colours. Sizes range from tiny 10-ounce bottles to those with massive 20-pound weights. All come with high-quality valves (flow rates vary). Check the chart for availability. Electric Blue and gloss black are in stock. Custom colours are available upon request.

Bottle valves do more than only open and close the flow of nitrous oxide. Nitrous-MIDSTAR Supply has forty valves for cylinder applications that have a standard 660 connection and are compatible with aluminium and carbon fibre bottles with capacities of 5, 10, 15, and 20 lb. There are also two integrated valves (5/8" and 3/4" thread) available.

FAQs

Q: How long does nitrous oxide last?

A: Nitrous oxide's sedative impact is felt in minutes and wears off within minutes after discontinuing the gas. Sedation takes anything from 30 seconds to three or four minutes to take effect.

Q: What kind of nitrous kit should I buy?

A: Many manufacturers offer complete systems. They usually include every component that may be needed for a complete installation; parts such as drill bits, pipe tap, fuel hose, brackets, fittings, thread sealer, hardware, wiring, 10 lb. bottle and the switches needed.

Q: Are there risks of patient falling during use of nitrous oxide?

A: As with any pain medicine, there is a chance that a patient will become unstable, light-headed, or dizzy, posing a fall risk. It is advised that the patient stay sitting or lying down throughout the treatment. Allow the patient to recuperate for 5-10 minutes after the nitrous oxide and oxygen have been removed.
