The standardization of valve models provides convenience for valve design, selection and sales. Nowadays, there are more and more types and materials of valves, and the model preparation of valves is becoming more and more complex. Although China has a unified standard for valve model compilation, it is increasingly unable to meet the needs of the development of the valve industry. For new valves that cannot use standard numbers, each manufacturer can prepare models according to their own needs.
The "Valve Model Preparation Method" standard is applicable to gate valves, throttle valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, diaphragm valves, plunger valves, plug valves, check valves, safety valves, pressure reducing valves, steam traps, etc. for industrial pipelines. It includes valve model compilation and valve naming.
The specific preparation method of valve model
Here is an example to give you a general understanding:
Valve model: "Z961Y-100I DN150" This is a complete gate valve model. It is easy to understand that the final "DN150" is not included in the compilation. This means that the valve diameter is 150mm. The front part: "Z961Y-100I" is seated according to the above sequence diagram, as follows:
"Z" is 1 unit; "9" is 2 units; "6" is 3 units; "1" is 4 units; "Y" is 5 units; "100" is 6 units; "I" is 7 units
The meaning of this valve model is: gate valve, electric drive, welded connection, wedge-type single gate, cemented carbide seal, 10Mpa pressure, chrome-molybdenum steel valve body material.
