What are the safety requirements for gas cylinder storage?

1. Special personnel should be responsible for the management of gas cylinder storage.
2. Empty cylinders and solid cylinders should be stored separately, with clear areas and marks.
3. Reliable fixing measures should be taken to prevent the vertical discharge gas cylinder from tipping over and rolling after storage.
4. Gas stored within a time limit shall be stored according to the requirements of the GB/T26571 specification and marked with the storage period.
5. During the storage period of the gas cylinder, the temperature and humidity in the library should be regularly tested and recorded. The maximum allowable temperature and humidity in the warehouse depend on the nature of the bottled gas. If necessary, a temperature control alarm device can be set up.
6. The gas cylinder in the warehouse should tighten the bottle cap, place it neatly, and leave a channel. The gas cylinder should also be properly fixed to prevent rolling when lying down, and the head of the gas cylinder should face the same direction. Gas cylinders should be stacked, not more than five layers.
7. The gas cylinder containing the gas which is easy to polymerization must be provided for the storage period. Gas cylinders containing toxic gases or containing media that can ignite explosions after contact with each other shall not be stored in the same warehouse. Oxygen cylinders shall not be stored in the same room with other inflammable and explosive products.
8. If the gas cylinder leaks, first of all, the corresponding human body protection should be done according to the nature of the gas. On the premise of ensuring safety, the valve should be closed. If the valve is out of control or the leakage is not on the bottle valve, emergency measures should be taken.
9. Check the electrical equipment and safety protection facilities inside and outside the warehouse regularly.
10. When the gas cylinder is in and out of storage, the warehouse manager should fill in the registration form carefully, including the date of the gas cylinder in and out of storage, the factory number, the quantity of the gas cylinder in capital, the signature of the air sender (the owner) and the gas cylinder warehouse worker. The registration record should be kept for at least one year.
