1. After purchasing gas, the user should check the paint color, inspection date, appearance, various labels and devices of the gas cylinder to confirm that the gas is correctly contained and the cylinder is in good condition before it can be used.

2. Gas cylinders should be lightly loaded and unloaded during transportation and loading and unloading, and throwing, sliding, rolling and violent collision are strictly prohibited.

3. Before using the gas, the qualified pressure reducing valve should be connected to the gas cylinder as required, and the connection hose should be cleaned. Do not use the same pressure reducing valve when using cylinders of different gases.

4. When welding, appropriate protective measures should be taken for gas and electricity. Do not use damaged equipment such as hoses, cables and welding torches.

5. Inert gases (such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide, etc.) should not be used in a closed space for experimental analysis, welding, low temperature refrigeration, blowing, etc.

6. In the use of occasions that may cause backflow, the use of equipment must be equipped with devices to prevent backflow, such as one-way valves, check valves, flame arresters, etc.

7. All users using acetylene, methane, propane and other combustible gases must install a check valve and a flame arrester at the outlet of the pressure reducer to prevent backflow and backfire, and install a check valve at the outlet of the oxygen cylinder pressure reducer to prevent acetylene gas backflow.

8. Before using combustible gases such as acetylene, methane and propane, all pressure reducing valves, welding guns, hoses and acetylene cylinders should be tested with soapy water to prevent these combustible gases from gathering in the air.

9. The distance between acetylene, methane, propane and other combustible gas cylinders and the open flame shall not be less than 10m(when working at high altitude, it should be parallel to the vertical ground); Gas cylinders should be stored upright, and there are measures to prevent dumping;

10. Acetylene, methane, propane and other flammable gas cylinders must be upright when used, and there are measures to prevent dumping, and it is strictly prohibited to use lying.

11. When acetylene, methane, propane and other flammable gases are used, the bottle valve should be opened and closed with a special handle, and it is always installed on the valve. When the use is temporarily interrupted, the welding tool valve and gas valve must be closed. It is strictly prohibited to adjust the pressure reducer or open and close the gas bottle valve with the welding tool lit.

12. The gas cylinder should be handled in time when the leak is found during use, and it is strictly prohibited to use in the case of leakage.

13. When moving, a special car should be used to move, if the acetylene cylinder and the oxygen cylinder are carried on the same car, it must be separated by a non-combustion material partition.

14. Units and individuals using gas cylinders shall not repair or replace accessories such as valve and fusible plug by themselves, and welding repair of gas cylinders in use is strictly prohibited.

15. The gas in the gas cylinder shall not be completely exhausted, and no less than 0.05Mpa/ liquefied gas must be left. The gas cylinder shall have no less than 0.5-1.0% of the prescribed filling amount of remaining gas.

16. Cylinders in which the gas in the bottle can contact with each other to cause combustion, explosion, and produce poisons shall not be transported with the same vehicle, such as hydrogen and oxygen, acetylene and oxygen cylinders. Acetylene cylinders shall not be stored in the same room as oxygen cylinders, chlorine cylinders and flammable materials.

17. The gas cylinder storage area should be dry and well ventilated, no open flame and other heat sources, no smoking near the flammable gas cylinder or oxygen cylinder, and the gas cylinder should not come into contact with sparks, flames, hot gas and circuits.

18. When storing, transporting and using cylinder, they should not be made to lie down and should always be kept upright. The temperature of liquefied gas is very low, which can easily cause frostbite.
