Prevent the cylinder from heating. Gas cylinders in use should not be exposed to the hot sun, not close to fire sources and high temperature areas, and should not be less than 10 m away from open flames; high-pressure steam should not be used to directly blow gas cylinders; hot water freezing and open flame baking are strictly prohibited. Heat the cylinder with a heat source with a temperature over 40°C.
When the gas cylinder is placed vertically, measures should be taken to prevent it from tipping; when opening the valve, it should be opened slowly to prevent the accessories from rapidly increasing the pressure to generate high temperature; for the gas cylinder of combustible gas, do not use steel tools to strike the cylinder to prevent sparks; oxygen The bottle valve of the bottle and its accessories should not be stained with grease, and the oxygen cylinder should not be operated after the hands or gloves are stained with oil.
Gas cylinders should be left with residual gas at the end of use, mainly to prevent accidents caused by mixing with other gases or impurities. Gas cylinders are used in situations where backflow (backflow) may occur, and there must be devices to prevent backflow, such as check valves, check valves, buffer tanks, etc. The residual oil and gas in the liquefied petroleum gas cylinders shall be recovered by facilities with safety measures and shall not be disposed of by themselves.
Strengthen the maintenance of gas cylinders. The paint layer on the outer wall of the gas cylinder is not only anti-corrosion, but also a sign of identification, which can prevent misuse and mixing. It is necessary to maintain the integrity of the paint surface and the clarity of the mark. Water mixed in the bottle will accelerate the corrosion of the inner wall of the gas bottle, so the gas bottle must be dried before filling. The gas cylinder user shall not change the type of gas to be filled or change the color mark of the gas cylinder without authorization. When it is really necessary to replace, an application should be made, and the gas cylinder inspection unit is responsible for the modification of the gas cylinder. The unit responsible for the modification shall determine whether the gas cylinder is suitable for the gas to be replaced according to the stamped mark and safety status of the gas cylinder. When refitting, the interior of the gas cylinder should be thoroughly cleaned, inspected, stamped and painted with inspection marks, replaced with corresponding accessories, and the words, color rings and colors of the refitted gas should be replaced.
