Operating rules for safe use of hydrogen cylinders

Hydrogen cylinder is a device that stores hydrogen. Usually used in industry and medical treatment, scientific research and other fields. Because hydrogen has explosive, flammable and other characteristics. Therefore, special attention needs to be paid to safe operation during use to protect the safety of personnel and equipment. The following is the safe use of hydrogen cylinder operating procedures:
Storage of hydrogen cylinders
1. The hydrogen cylinder should be stored in a dry, ventilated, light-proof warehouse or storage room, and stored separately from other flammable, explosive, strong acid, strong alkali and other items.
2. The hydrogen cylinder should be placed vertically, and the bottom should be flat with wood or rubber pads to prevent the bottleneck from cracking due to vibration or collision.
3. Hydrogen cylinders should be kept away from fire sources, electrical equipment and other places that are easy to generate sparks, and should not be stored in an environment with explosion risk.
Hydrogen cylinder handling
1. Hydrogen cylinders should be carried by special vehicles or carts, and must not be thrown, rolled or dropped at will.
2. During the handling process, the hydrogen cylinder shall not be mixed with other chemicals or items to avoid severe friction or collision.
3. During the handling process, the hydrogen cylinder should be kept upright, and it is strictly prohibited to lean or press, so as not to cause the bottleneck to break.
