Safety technical requirements for gas cylinder valves

1: The material of the cylinder valve should comply with the relevant standards, and the material used will neither react with the gas contained in it nor affect the quality of the gas.

2: The thread on the cylinder valve and the thread connected to the gas cylinder must match the thread in the bottle mouth and meet the relevant standards. The structure of the gas outlet of the cylinder valve should be able to effectively prevent the misinstallation and misuse of gas. The valve for flammable gas is right-handed; the valve for flammable gas is left-handed.

3: The cylinder valve sealing material of oxygen and strong oxidizing gas cylinders must use oil-free flame-retardant materials.

4: The valve body must be forged and formed, machined successively, and castings are prohibited.

5: The factory name, specification, manufacturing date, batch number, trademark and other signs should be engraved on the valve body, and a certificate of conformity should be issued one by one.

6: The difference in the quality of cylinder valves of the same specification and model shall not exceed 5%.

7: The material of the hand wheel of the cylinder valve should have flame retardant properties. Generally, aluminum alloy materials such as ZL102 aluminum alloy are used, and plastics are prohibited.

8: The appearance requires that the valve body should not have cracks, inclusions, over burnt and other defects, and the hand wheel should not have sharp edges or burrs.
